In the early 1890s, Dave Hays built this structure to serve as a warehouse next to his store and residence. The other two buildings are gone but the warehouse survived. The upper floor was used for Masons and Odd Fellows.
David Hays Warehouse, Built roughly 20 years after the 1870’s D. Hays & Bro store (and residence,) this sole remaining building was added on to in 1895 with an upper annex used by the Odd Fellows, Masons and other societies. Dave and his brother Henry managed the business.
