Scheduling Process for Current IHS Students
School counselors will be presenting to students January 19-26, 2024.
Lesson will cover:
Overview of scheduling process
New course offerings
How to fill out scheduling form
Following the scheduling lesson, students need to fill out their schedule form by January 31, 2024.
School counselors will have individual meetings with students in February to discuss their course selection.
During the meeting, students will:
Receive a copy of their evaluated transcript
Be able to ask their counselor any questions they may have
Discuss appropriate course options
Scheduling Timeline
January 19, 2024: G.11 (Junior) Presentation through US History course
February 5-6, 2024: 1:1 meeting with School Counselor
January 23, 2024: G.10 (Sophomore) Presentation through PE 2 course
February 7-8, 2024: 1:1 meeting with School Counselor
January 26, 2024: G.9 (Freshman) Presentation through PE 1 course
February 12-13, 2024: 1:1 meeting with School Counselor
January 31, 2024: Scheduling Form closes
Mid-to-Late March 2024: Students will receive a copy of their intended courses for the 2024-25 school year
If students would like to make a change to their intended courses, they can do so by filling out the Course Change Form
All requests will be reviewed by each student's school counselor
Requests may be denied
Mid-April 2024: Last day for students to submit a course change request
