How to Create & Share A Grid and Add Topics

  • Create a Grid and select a Grid Community Type- (A Grid is the “home” for your class in Flipgrid, and you can create as many Grids as you want.)

  • Add Topics to your Grid by creating your own or searching the Disco Library- (Topics are discussion prompts and can include anything you would like your students to review prior to recording a video Response, such as videos and links.)

  • Share your Grid’s Flip Code with your students.

How to Post to Topics

  • Select a topic and then tap the green plus to start the record process.

  • Tap the record button on the bottom to start.

  • Review your video. Trim, rearrange, or add more. Tap the arrow in the bottom right to advance.

  • Take a selfie! (It will be the cover image for your video.) Tap the arrow in the bottom right to advance

  • Edit your name, add a title, or attach a link. Then submit your reply!


How to View & Reply to Other Posts

  • Open a video, tap the green reply button.

  • Tap the record button on the bottom to start. Add fun stickers, filters, text, and more. Tap the arrow on the bottom right to advance.

  • Review your video. Trim, rearrange, or add more. Tap the arrow in the bottom right to advance.

  • Take a selfie! (It will be the cover image for your video.) Tap the arrow in the bottom right to advance
