Only teachers attended this LTTA as it was the first meeting. They had the project meeting since it was a need to set partnership and discuss everyting once again face to face and more consciously by all partner coordinators. All project was taken in hand and re-programmed again in terms of tasks sharing, implementing rules, management methods, evaluation and dissemination.

Besides all of those serious works together, teachers will observe the school, system and see good practices. Host students showed them their pre- works and presentations.Cultural activities and “The effect of Stories in Education” topic was studied as the main route of this LTTA.

The exchange included several types of activities:

1. Ice-breaking activities - communication games, drama activities, tour of the school

2. Cultural events - artistic programme, presentations of countries, schools, regions, towns.

3. Topic-related activities - students presented their stories and after each one, the teachers ran activities related to them, so that they ensured understanding of the message.

4. Attending lessons - teachers were invited to classes of their choice - each class was attended by 5-6 participants.

5. Evaluation of activities

The organisation of this transnational project meeting enabled us to: create group synergy, establish a good project plan, exchange practices regarding school work and management, exchange ideas and opinions about the systems of education - what works, what doesn't work in each of the countries.

In those pictures above, you can see the students presenting a project that has become a tradition throughout the school. For this project, each class first chooses a country, then collects information about the country and makes a presentation to their classmates and even to the students at the school.

In the second stage of the project, the students say to decorate the classroom with the cultural symbols of the country they represent, and when the presentation day comes, they present all the works they have prepared to the school jury. All these presentations are evaluated and the most successful country representation is selected.

During the exchange in our country we brought together stories from around Europe, discussed them and developed activities with teacher based on them.Besides creating definite schedule and plan entire project, as teachers we worked on how to develop better cooperation. At the end of the exchange, we created our first product, a collection of stories from around Europe. After the exchange, teachers collaborated to develop several activities connected to them, and special activities for SEN students. The activities were about developing interpretative skills.

HACIVAT VE KARAGOZ

played on the screen wıth 2D depıctıons

Karagöz and Hacivatis a shadow play based on imitation and conversation, played on the screen with 2D depictions.

It is a shadow play based on projecting figures on a white screen with the help of backlight.

According to a legend, Karagöz and Hacivat were actual people. These two legendarily clownish individuals were construction workers on a mosque in Bursa sometime in the mid-14th century. Their silly antics distracted the other workers, slowing down the construction and the ruler at the time ordered their execution. They were so sorely missed that they were immortalized as the silly puppets that entertained the Ottoman Empire for centuries.

Some works made by the students about the legendary characters of Turkey.
