Long Range Goals

1.  The gifted talented students in Era Independent School District will be identified and provided means of learning based on individual skills, interests and needs.

2.  The gifted talented program is to provide these students with a continuum of learning experiences that leads to the development of advanced level products and performances.  As well as the opportunity to reach, through enrichment, the upper levels of achievement in the major categories of the cognitive domain.

3.  The primary goal of the GT program is to develop self-directed learners by providing an instructional program which integrates the cognitive, affective and psychomotor processes.

4.  Provide qualified educator assistance to ensure the implementation needs of the program.
