Kassim and the Greedy Dragon! 🐲

Our new story pattern this term is a warning tale with a focus on building suspense.

We story mapped the Pie Corbett tale of a young boy called Kassim who didn't listen to his mother's warning and ventured into a deep, dark cave to find... a greedy dragon!

We have been working on piling up the description in order to build suspense. Take a look at some of the descriptions we came up with for the cave, Kassim, the dragon and the pile of diamonds.

Number Talks Super Stars! ⭐

E and A wanted to extend their learning during number talks and challenged themselves to record tricky multiplcation calculations - amazing effort!

The Egyptians likes gold and lots of jewels so I am adding lots of these on.

We have been busy crafting props and costumes for our upcoming Egyptian assembly!

We looked at Egyptian patterns and colours to inspire our art.

Primary 3 did an absolutely WONDERFUL job of helping Murdo lead the Easter Service today. Huge congrats to all of our ambitious readers who spoke beautifully! Everyone had such great self-belief and produced an amazing rendition of Spring Chicken! 🐣

We had a lot of fun this morning in Primary 3, as we shared some of our favourite jokes to celebrate April Fools' Day!

Why did the horse cross the road? To get to the neeeeeeighbours!

What travels all around the world but stays in the same place? a stamp!!

Miss Reynolds even pranked us with a wordsearch with no answers and a maze that had no solution!
