Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and attention deficit disorder (ADD) are diagnosed by CAMHS (Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services), normally following a referral from the school psychologist or from your GP. Some pupils may be prescribed medication, some pupils benefit from movement breaks or sitting on wobble stools. Finding how best to support pupils can be trial and error and it is important that pupils, parents and staff work together to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
If you think your child has ADHD or ADD and you would like to speak to a member of staff, please contact the school.
