My name is Imran and I like a lot of things. I really like primary 7 so far. I really like art and I love to doodle. I like to read and my favorite authors are Liz Pichon and David Walliams.
In primary 6, I learned a lot but I would like to practice on writing neatly.
My goal is to learn more on tech and science.
Me and the class made fantastic word art about collaboration. Here is a picture of all of them together.
One of the word art pictures were made by me and Deen, and funnily enough, we used COLLABORATION to make the COLLABORATION pictures!
In science, I collaborated with Adam when we were making our own monsters out of play-doh with the "parents" genes.
I EARNED THE JOB I WANTED.
HELPING WITH SCIENCE!
(in case you didn't know, I like science)
We went to the showtime restaurant.
The food was really tasty!
Our group, La cucina del paradiso, are serving showtime next week.
We played lots of fun games in the pitch to raise money for the spark park organized by S6s from Mearns Castle. It was fun.
Me and Aaron played outside in the forest and played real life minecraft and ran about.
In the last four weeks, the whole class made solo talks about what they want to be when they are older.
This week we presented them to the class. I learned a lot from the presentations. My one was about geology. Adam done geology as well. Also, me and Adam were the only ones to use props!
I communicated lots of ways this week. I will tell you two of them.
During the solo talks. I spoke to my audience and answered questions clearly.
During an angles game. I taught Aaron how to do it and communicated while we were playing it.
How to round one decimal place. So basically, ignore the full number and look at the last 2 decimal points. Take this as an example: 2.13. The end decimal is three, lower than five, so round it down to 2.10.
How to round two decimal places: If the last three decimal places are above 5 hundredths, you round the number up. If it is below 500, you round down.
How to round three decimal places: same as rounding two decimal places but with 5 thousandths and last 4 decimal numbers.
Here is some more examples:
Round 1 decimal:
2.134 = 2.1
1.587 = 1.6
2.445 = 2.4
3.794 = 3.8
6.888 = 6.9
9.0089 9.1
4.556 = 4.6
Round 2 decimal:
3.559 = 3.56
7.380 = 7.09
44.5509 = 44.60
3.146 = 3.15
5.999 = 6.00
