This is my BMW iX drawing that I am very proud of.
We made a spiderman berry desert and we used a lot of collaboration whilst cutting the fruit and melting the chocolate.
These are the ingredients:
1 lb. of strawberries
½ cup of blackberries
½ cup of blueberries
3 Tbsp. of vanilla icing
1 Tbsp. of chocolate icing
The recipe:
LAYERING THE BERRIES:
Cut ¾ of the strawberries into slices. You want to reserve the remaining ¼ to create the Spider-Man faces.
Fill the middle of a plate with a mix of blackberries and blueberries in a neat pile.
Surround the blackberry and blueberry pile with two neat rows of strawberries. We recommend layering them like flower petals so none of them overlap.
CREATING THE SPIDER-MAN WEB:
Starting from the center of the berry pile, draw eight lines extending to the end of the plate with vanilla icing, about 3 strawberry slices of width in between for reference.
Connect the ends of each line with a slight inwardly curving line. Continue to create inwardly curving lines until you reach the center. Make sure the the lines are curving TOWARD the center, and not away, or it will not look like a Spider-Man web.
HOW TO DRAW SPIDER-MAN FACE:
Cut the tops off of your remaining strawberries.
Carefully draw a thick line of vanilla icing for each eye. Keep in mind the shape of Spider-Man’s eyes: they slant down inwardly, and have a “sharp” look to them.
Outline the vanilla icing with a thin line of chocolate icing.
The other group really liked our food!
Our time at lockerbie was really fun!
We collaborated by helping each other do maths questions and making mistakes for our partners to do.
Can you figure out my mistake?
We communicated in outdoor learning when we had to make angles with ourselves.
I won the game!
