Music Production (Audio 15-25-35)
Teacher - Mr. Justin Moes
If you are interested in learning about the music industry and how to produce your own music, then these courses are for you! We cover all the foundations of music production, from songwriting to recording to mixing, and everything in between. Some of the specific topics covered are how to use a Digital Audio Workstation to create beats, work with samples, compose songs, record and edit audio clips, and learn about essential audio tools and effects such as reverb and EQ. We also cover how to set up and properly use PA systems for live performances, and students in the higher levels will have the opportunity to run the soundboard for various school concerts and events. Lessons about the music industry and copyright law are also integrated into our projects so that students will be able to make informed decisions about the various careers in music that they might be interested in pursuing. No experience or prerequisites are needed to join Audio 15. Â
