Theatrical Production: (School Year Play)
Students become a part of a close-knit ensemble of passionate theatre students (cast and technicians) and form friendships that will last a lifetime. Working together during rehearsals or promoting the year play within the school forms a genuine sense of community and friendship within the Performing Arts community. By exploring several elements of play production (acting, stage management, lighting, sound, set design, costumes, and make-up), Performing Arts offers students the opportunity to experience a theatre arts environment and to gain knowledge about theatrical professions.
This course is offered outside the regular time table.
Our most recent production was The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time adapted by Simon Stephens. Although performances were cut short after opening night due to COVID restrictions, the cast and crew put on a fantastic show!
Previous productions include:
The Crucible by Arthur Miller
Blue Stockings by Jessica Swale
Girls Like That by Evan Placey
Daisy Pulls It Off by Denise Deegan
