Drama 10-20-30 (5 credits for each level)
In Drama 10, students engage in games and work on solo and group projects leading to the creation and in-class presentation of an original dramatic story. Along the way, they are introduced to foundational skills in movement, speech, basic set and costume design, theatre history, and planned improvisation.
In Drama 20, students build on Drama 10 skills and specifically focus on developing acting skills and playwirighting (writing scripts).
In Drama 30, students apply skills from previous levels, focusing on more advanced acting technique, directing published plays and studying world theatre traditions.
Advanced Acting/Touring Theatre 15-25-35 - (5 credits for each level)

Corequisite: Drama 10-20-30 or Discussion with Teacher
This course offers students the opportunity to study acting as a theatre performance-based course. Performance acting allows students to develop their creative, intuitive, spontaneous and imaginative potential. This course provides opportunities for students to expand their skills learned in Drama 10-20-30, as it explores performance as an important learning experience for theatre students. This course is open to students who are concurrently enrolled in Drama 10-20-30 or by audition if not enrolled. You may enroll in this program your first year!
This course is offered full-year in Block 5.
