This Land & Its People

I acknowledge the first peoples of the land I am grateful to teach on and about, the Coast Salish, Muckleshoot, and Puyallup people. I hope to honor their past, present, and future by sharing their history and teachings with my students. 

I want to also extend my gratitude to Sui-Lan Ho'okano, who graciously answers my questions and shares her resources and knowledge with endless energy.
