Guidelines for Report
Weekly Progress Reports should be printed out before meetings with the sponsor and instructor.
All team members should be able to explain all items on the progress report.
To start a new progress report, create a new webpage and use the Progress Report Template.
Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Budget at UCSD is $500.00 ($279.15 already spent). Budget at SPAWAR is $5500 ($929.17 Spent)
Track type decided (snowmobile parts). Ordered all drive shafts, drive wheels, and track. Track and 1/2 of drive shafts/wheels arrived. (Ryan)
Frame and chassis designs finalized for fabrication (Mike)
Tensioner design finalized and approved by sponsor. Springs and hardware Preliminary spring-force testing upcoming (awaiting parts to arrive). (Ryan)
Working on Controls and looking to have all software and packages installed and ready to go for the week. (Edrees)
Segway power cable/hub quote given to Spawar (Edrees)
Drive train gear ratio, sprocket sizes, and chain size determined. Awaiting arrival of parts. (Mahin)
Idler wheels need to be purchased based on which kind of idler wheel design sponsor suggests this week.
