EGAD— If it's important to you it's significant to us
8/17/2025
Today is the last Sunday before my friends go back home in LA area on Tuesday (8/19/2025).
A perfect day in many ways
Breakfast:
Did not get up early, but got up at the right time - Michelle also got up soon. I didn't plan for the breakfast last night but I found the best combination for breakfast. I even baked the sweet potato but it turned out NOT to be baked. It would be too much if it was baked, so it was part of the perfect breakfast plan.
God's nudging in my heart : do not quench the Spirit! Invite my guests to the church. I just invited and trust God for the results- I was determined to do that before I did invite.
Call for picking up
Wen called to tell me not to go to the church, but called again soon right before we got ready to go out. The timing cannot be better. Such a perfect timing to call to change the plan. I got the ride plan back from the church.
Church service - great message: Abide
After church - talking to all the people I should talk to: Robotic teacher from New Mexico, Mary Anne - prayer, Mike, Liz- knee replacement and her mom (93)'s time here, Bill, Kerry, Phin, Marty, Connor, Nathandaniel, and Amy
TCCC- sharing time, Xiaohua, Lienfang, and Amy. Talking to Cindy after the sharing time.
Lunch time with Wen, Michelle, Li, and Juan sister.
Ride - a good conversation with Wen.
Afternoon: Zoom with Ellen, and time with Rebecca.
Good timing of losing my voice - right before the call came. Maybe God didn't want me to talk on the phone? Ha. Interesting.
Good conversations with Aunt.
Another good conversation on WeChat, but my voice was too scary and the conversation was cut short?
Ending up not write anything in the pain paper - turned out to be good...
