Junior
Information
Attention Juniors:
This is the year to start planning for life post-high school!!
Check out the below timeline of what to expect as you go through your junior year.
FALL
Start off the year by joining clubs, sports, and focus on earning grades you are proud of in your current courses! You want to do your best and use this year wisely to maintain and/or improve your overall GPA.
In October, we administer the PSAT here at JGHS to all 10th and 11th-grade students. We encourage all juniors to sit for the PSAT again for practice. Unlike in the 10th grade, PSAT scores in the junior year can make a student eligible for National Merit Scholarship.
