This course fulfills the Practical Arts graduation requirement

This upper-level automotive course teaches the entry-level diagnostic and repair skills for employment or to further a career in the automotive technology field. This course emphasizes the study of brake systems, suspension and steering, electrical systems, emissions and engine performance (OBD 1&2) in accordance with ASE/NATEF Tasks and Standards. Students will learn and apply specialized automotive equipment such as computerized scan tools, electronic meter usage, brake lathes and alignment equipment.
