This course fulfills the Consumer Education OR Practical Arts graduation requirement

In this course students will learn important financial literacy skills needed for money management as an adult; such as budgeting, insurance, banking, housing and credit. This class also relates the required consumer education topics as they apply to owning and maintaining a large purchase such as an automobile. This class will also instruct students in the practical information you need to be an automobile owner. Automotive lessons include when and how to perform routine maintenance on your car, how to identify car problems, and fundamental emergency tips; such as changing a flat tire. This course will fulfill your consumer education graduation requirement.
