Prerequisite: Manufacturing Technology H

This course fills the Practical Arts graduation requirement.

Computer Numerical Control Manufacturing Technology is a course designed for students to explore lucrative careers in the CNC manufacturing industry. Students will be exposed to G and M coding and program writing, CNC mill and Lathe setup and operation as well as 3D modeling and tool path creation. This pathway will also create a professional network for streamlined job placement for all students, particularly those wishing to enter the workforce after graduation.

This course is offered as a Blended Learning course. Blended learning is an approach to learning that combines face-to-face and online learning experiences. There is a combination of student days in class and out of class. This flexible use of time allows the teacher to bring in small groups of students for targeted support and/or enrichment and it allows students to have more ownership over how, when and where they learn.
