Manufacturing Technology Honors: #050B

Grades: 9-12

1.0 Credit: Semester High Weighted Credit 

Prerequisite: None

Dual Credit: College of DuPage (Manufacturing 1151 - Machine Shop 1 - 3 Semester Hours)

This course fills the Practical Arts graduation requirement. 

Manufacturing Technology H is a course designed for students to explore careers in the manufacturing industry. Students will be exposed to lab safety, technical print reading, precision measuring, manual milling and turning, as well as Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining.  Students will earn college credit through our dual credit partnership with COD. This course is recommended for students pursuing careers in Engineering and Manufacturing fields.

Dual credit is open to all Junior and Senior Students. Freshman and Sophomore students need to be recommended by the classroom teacher  in order to receive dual credit.
