The Direct Admit program by the Universities of Wisconsin offers high school students streamlined admission to select universities within the system. Students can secure their spot without requiring ACT/SAT scores if they meet specified criteria. Parents will opt their student into the program through Infinite Campus by May of the student’s junior year - opting-in is required in order to participate in the program
Eligibility is based on end of junior year academic records as indicated on the student's transcript
Unweighted GPA
"On track to graduate" as indicated by current credits and projected credits for senior year
Complete high school credits required for graduation by the end of senior year
Complete minimum credit requirements for college admissions by end of senior year
English: 4 credits
Math: 3 credits
Natural Science: 3 credits
Social Science: 3 credits
Additional academic units: 4 credits
Students will be notified of their Direct Admit admissions offers starting in August via email
Students will need to complete the Direct Admit Form (opens August 1) that they receive via email in order to claim their admission by May 1 of their senior year
Secondary Admission Process
Students interested in specific major/academic programs may need to complete a secondary admission process after Direct Admit acceptance; students are advised to connect with their universities of interest to review this process, if needed
