FAQ SOLAR
Q: I already signed an Agreement with Solar VIC, why do I have to do another Agreement
A: The Solar Victoria Rebate is the State initiative that is the amount of $1850 (or check their quote). On your quote you would have seen the discount for STC (Small Scale Technology Certificate) this is the Federal Rebate which we process separately. We have already applied this amount as the system discount however we haven't been able to claim it as we are awaiting for your signature.
Q: I do not want to sign the Solar STC Agreement?
A: This is part of your contract when you accepted the quote that we will claim the STC on your behalf. We can however put it writing and we will change the invoice and we will have to unfortunately charge you with difference of the amount.
Q What if I want to replace my roof in 3 - 5 years ? Do I have to get rid of this solar system?
A: As the solar system becomes your property after full payment you can do whatever is needed with them. If you decide to change your roof we can quote you at the time to remove the panels and re install it.
Q.Do you know when the inspection is?
Use this is its a new install and customers has not been waiting for a long time
A: The inspection company is independent to us so we are unable to tell you when it will be however it is usually between 2 - 3 weeks, sometimes it can be earlier. You will be contacted via a text message to let you know when the inspector is coming or if he needs access to the property. If you haven't heard from the inspector after 3 weeks let us know and we can follow it up with you.
