Student Initiated External VIA Guidelines:
Students can choose to do their projects with any Volunteering Welfare Organizations (VWOs) and Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) externally.
Students are encouraged to show regular involvement like volunteering with an organization or projects where the student is actively involved through planning. You are strongly encourage to submit projects that demonstrated more than 10 hours in commitment as a participant.
Projects which are done in with profit-maximising organisations, religious context, exchanged for monetary benefits or services rendered with personal benefits will not be recognized.
The VIA Project has to be done in collaboration with an established external VWO and non-profit organisation. Projects such as food distribution with family in a hometown overseas will not be considered as an official record.
For all CAP and PW projects, please approach your respective Teachers to get the endorsements and advice if it is included in External VIA.
In EJC, you may choose a cause that you truly believe in and start your own initiative via Student Initiated External VIA Projects!
