AP Spanish Language and Culture Course #05046 This course emphasizes communication skills in understanding, speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish. Grammar will be emphasized along with cultural studies and some exposure to literature. The goal of this course is to become fluent in Spanish and so this class is conducted entirely in Spanish. Homework is assigned daily. Upon completion, students will be eligible to take the AP examination in Spanish that may qualify for college credit. Students may be placed in this course based on a process which includes submitting a letter of intent, a writing sample, a parent permission response, an application, as well as attendance at a student/parent meeting.
