AP Calculus A/B #03050

Department: Mathematics 03050 This advanced course is designed to parallel the first semester of a college level calculus course and will cover differential and integral calculus. Topics that will be covered include: limits, differentiation, applications of differentiation, integration, applications of integration, and elementary functions. This class will prepare students to take the AP Calculus AB test near the end of the school year, giving them the opportunity to earn college credit. Students are strongly encouraged to take the AP exam. A graphing calculator is recommended. This course uses a "5-point A" grading system recognized by the CSU and UC system.
