Ally Carda is a professional softball pitcher and first baseman. Ally attended PGHS from 2008-2011, where she was a three-time all delta athlete, a River Cats Softball Player of the Year, and helped the eagles win their first softball title in 2009. As a senior, she declared intent to play for UCLA. As a bruin, she was back to back Pac-12 Player of the Year and their team boasted a record of 100 wins and 28 losses. In those 100 wins, 22 of those games were shutout victories and 6 of those victories were saves. After her time at UCLA, she joined the US National Women's team in 2015, where she earned a silver medal in the Pan American games. She also participated in the 2016 Softball World Championships, where team USA earned a gold medal. In the 2020 olympics, she earned a silver medal with Team USA. In 2024, she competed in the Softball World Championships and earned another silver medal.
