Let's find out about Autumn 2!
This half term our main topic focus is going to be on Nurses! During this largely history-based topic we will be exploring key differences in modern day nursing and nursing in the Victorian era. We will also be finding out all about influential figures such as Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole.

In computing this half term we are going to be exploring different types of art! We had a practice this week using a computer mouse to create firework art in time to remember the 5th of November!

We have been as busy as Santa's elves working on loads of Christmas and winter related activities!
In our maths lessons this half term we have been focusing on both 2D and 3D shapes - ask us how many we can name and if we can tell you some of their properties!
This week some of us had the opportunity to use 2D shapes to make wrapping paper for our presents! This lesson also focused on creating repeating patterns.

A Magical Christmas Journey!
We have been so unbelievably proud of our Year 2's during our practicing and performances of 'A Magical Christmas Journey!' this year. They have shown amazing resilience, effort, partnership and enjoyment throughout. The children worked so hard to remember their lines and cues and all looked amazing in their costumes.
Thank you for your support with this at home, we again could not have done this without you.
