Throughout this professional development session, learn how to navigate Canvas Learning Management Systems' basic functions, navigation toolbar, and creating content. We cover how to create pages, assignments, and modules. Additionally, we cover how to access and add students to courses, analyze their course data and engagement, grading/assessing student work, and communicate with students through Canvas. At the end of this training, you will have a foundational knowledge of to using Canvas as a teacher or support staff to help support and engage students using this tool for their course.

Watch the following video recording of the PD session. Before clicking play, log into the Pear Deck Slide presentation to the right of the posted video of the PD. This will allow you to participate while going through the content in an interactive manner. When logging into Pear Deck, use your email when it prompts you to log in. Then, you will be able to write on many of the slides during the presentation. While you go through the presentation, you will be able to interact as if you were there during the live PD session.
