Introduction to Canvas Commons/How to Use

In order to get ideas for Canvas courses, templates, or entire courses, Canvas Commons is the place to go. Follow the steps below to access and use Canvas Commons to support you in building and amplifying your course. 

1. Log in to Canvas

2. Go to the dashboard on the righthand side once logged in. Click on the "Commons" icon at the bottom of the dashboard. 

3. Once on the "Commons" page, there are a number of options. You can search courses, modules, assignments,  institutions of learning, and tags at the top of the page. 

4. During your search, you can filter the search for the latest,  most downloaded, most favorited, and most downloaded. 

5. Then, once you've conducted your search, a number of options will appear below the search bar. 

6. You can click on the search results. Then, you have the option to do the following: Import/Download the course, add to favorites, and copy resource link.
