The PDHPE faculty have developed programs by selecting modules from each Area of Study. The course has a strong focus on learning through movement to explore Areas of Study. There is content studied within PASS that builds on that of the PDHPE Years 7–10 syllabus. The syllabus provides a further basis that can be built on in Stage 6 PDHPE and SLR.
Throughout the course students will be assessed on the key skills that allow them to take action for health and physical activity. This includes an emphasis on communication, interaction, problem solving, decision making, planning and moving.
Assessment will occur on both theory and practical content covered.
There are no fees. Students who elect to participate in accreditation and excursions will incur some costs. Students will need to wear their PE uniform during practical lessons.
