F BLOCK TIMELINE
A timeline spanning ancient, medieval and modern eras of history, and stretching between two floors of F Block has just been completed.
This hugely ambitious project was led by Mr Rigby and involved a crew of dozens of students who wrote all the text and painted all the illustrations. The finished product is a great example of our students' creativity, passion for learning and focus.
HSC STUDY DAY
All Modern, Ancient and Extension History students recently attended a series of lectures organised by the History Teachers' Association of NSW at Sydney University.
The days gave students a taste for university-style learning and provided them with a valuable range of resources and strategies to tackle the HSC.
MODERN & ANCIENT HISTORY SHOWS
Years 7 and 8 students had a great time learning about Ancient and Medieval History when James Adams, a history expert, visited the school with his truckload of replica artefacts. These presentations buttressed the students' understanding of History in a very engaging and often tactile way.
