This term, the Prefects were busy organising initiatives for the students of Newtown. We were also busy with our assessments, exams, performances, and preparation for the trials which will begin next term.
We held a stall selling souvlaki at Newtown's annual Multicultural Day.
Every week, the Year Group with the most improved attendance from the week prior get to choose a song to be played at the end of school on Friday.
If you would like to suggest a song to be put on the list, please fill out the following google form.

Year 12s Quinn and Tom organised “Anything But a Bag” day, with support from the Prefects. All proceeds went to Youth Off the Streets.
Next term, we will be busy with our trials and practical HSC performances, however, we are looking at organising a Book Week “book swap” in late August.
To Year 12 - take care of yourselves during this period, and to the rest of you - make the best of your school holidays!
