Where you need to have software installed on a number of computers you can make a general request based on room.
If you want software installed on a particular laptop and have a bar code scanner or scanner on your phone (eg quickmark) you can scan the sticker on the bottom and give me serial number, asset number or name (preferably).
On all windows computers the best way to identify it is to use issue logger as in the document below.
