If you are regularly printing from your school owned laptop to the library printer OR you are a cross campus teacher, you may need a printer installed. Detailed explanation at bottom of page.

On the Tuncurry site, printers are normally added automatically.
They are usually assigned by the room the computer "lives" in, for school owned devices.
For a desktop this is obvious, for a laptop it is set to a room in the library, pod location or a staff member's staffroom.
Students-should always have access to the Library printer. Some specialist rooms may have an additional choice for students, eg Art.
Staff - there will be a default for a desktop's location .. eg C115 desktops default to the printer near the front door, Jg17 defaults to art printer.
The default printer for a staff member's laptop is the appropriate printer for their home campus.
The library printer is no longer installed on staff laptops automatically - preventing accidental disappearing print jobs.
