The RIOT program, or Resilience in our Teens, is a school-based program designed to help teenagers build resilience and manage anxiety. It focuses on equipping students with skills to navigate challenges and improve their mental wellbeing. The program is implemented through various initiatives like coaching conversations, workshops, and assemblies, and staffed are trained to support students.
How does it work?
Students complete complete lessons at school, teaching them valuable skills and evidence based strategies to develop and improve their resilience. Lessons are delivered by trained staff, known as RIOT Champions.
