Creative and Performing Arts

Welcome parents, caregivers and students to Lake Munmorah High School Creative and Performing Arts Faculty.

The Creative and Performing Arts Faculty at Lake Munmorah has had a long tradition of excellence.

Students undertaking a CAPA subject for their HSC, have always attained their highest HSC mark in a Creative and Performing Arts subject. At Lake Munmorah our students are often placed in the top two bands for the HSC.

We have had students nominated for OnStage in Drama, students HSC artworks in Art Express and students perform in Newcastle for Music HSC Case Study days.

It is a great subject to increase your ability to:

• Problem solve

• Work collaboratively as part of a team

• Boost written and spoken communication

• Increase critical thinking

• Develop creative thinking
