All classrooms have Interactive Whiteboards to engage learners and promote achievement of learning outcomes across the learning areas. All learners have access to technology in the school. Learners in K- 2 have access to a dedicated iPad for school use and all 3-6 learners have access to a dedicated chrome book for use at school. These devices are used only for learning purposes. Teachers are trained in using a variety of new and emerging software applications and technologies. Learners develop their ICT skills in investigation, problem solving, learning, communication, and presentation. At Lapstone Public School, we also have a dedicated space named the “Designer Den” which is used for STEM/STEAM activities including 3D printing and coding.
