Chillax Sessions

Studying can present challenging times. Along with the other Wellbeing resources throughout this site, below we will add tools specifically created for more intense learning periods to help keep things in perspective:

KHS Chillax Check-in sessions

If you practice these check ins when there is not a specific reason, then you will notice that it becomes far easier to implement the strategies when you find yourself in a stressful situation in regular day to day life.

This week's audio is an introduction to meditation. This meditation can be done with your eyes open or closed. You can find a chair to sit in or you may like to lie down. Either way, be fussy about your surroundings!

KHS Chillax Check in Day 1.mp3

This week we look at the importance of making sure you claim the space for your Chillax Check-in session. Is it a warm space, are you able to relax? Have you made sure you won't be disturbed? You may want to stay a little longer today so set your space up to support you and enjoy...

KHS Chillax Check in Day 2.mp3

We start to get very practical in the next few sessions. Today's session builds on Week 1 and 2 and our connection with our breath by extending that to feeling our feet. When so much of our day to day is in our heads it is a good opportunity to remember the other parts of the body. Remember you can stay in the session for longer if you want to.

KHS Chillax Check in Day 3.mp3

This week's focus is being aware of the chatter in our heads that can often go unnoticed. It is not about silencing our minds but giving your mind something to focus on. This one is good for any time of day but each one builds for a more restful sleep.

KHS Chillax Check in Day 4.mp3

This is one of our greatest challenges and keeps us in a cycle of right and wrong, good and bad. Yet, what does that feel like in the body? Check out this week’s audio to further your science experiment with the body.

KHS Chillax Check in Day 5.mp3

We move a lot in our day, classroom to classroom, chair to chair. But HOW do we move, and does it impact how we feel? Today’s session is one for you to start sitting down.

KHS Chillax Check in Day 6.mp3

This session is an opportunity to reconnect and recognise what can be a distraction and what allows you to deeply rest. It is best done in the evening, as you complete your day.

KHS Chillax Check in Day 7.mp3

Concentration comes from the body and is supported by a body that is not tired. By clocking what it feels like to check in we are more likely to spot when we check out.

KHS Chillax Check in Day 8.mp3

We live under many cycles but the one we look at today is one that is with us 24/7 – the cycle of our breath. Find a quiet spot and enjoy.

KHS Chillax Check in day 9.mp3

Why wait for someone else to bring a reset to you, when you can recognise a need for change and step into that yourself? This is a session that celebrates the foundations we offer ourselves to then live in our day.
