Our Parent Council is a group of parents, selected by their fellow parents to represent their views and their voices to those managing the school. They are also involved in broader discussions around the future of educational services and how budgetary issues within East Lothian Council might impact on Law Primary.
The C0-Chairs of the Parent Council holds regular meetings, when the Head and other teachers provide updates and answer questions – all parents are welcome and all opinions matter.

LIBRARY PARENT SUB-GROUP
The libraries subgroup look after both of the school libraries:
Maintaining tidy and organised library environments for ease of use
Showcasing the children’s art work
Creating new displays and displays linked to classroom projects
Rotating books to keep the selection varied
Identifying gaps in current book series
Conserving current collection; adding protective covers and identifying books for repair
