Junior Road Safety Officer (JRSO) programme puts children in control of highlighting road safety issues around their school.
The JRSO scheme allows pupils to adopt additional responsibilities and to become directly involved in road safety matters. It enables them to highlight problems that affect them locally and raises awareness of road safety issues within their school and the wider community. By encouraging greater interest in road safety in schools this scheme aims to help primary school children to use roads in a safer way.

This year the JRSOs are one of our Pupil Action Groups (PAG Groups). It is a mix of children from P4 to P7 that work with Mrs Brodie. The JRSO group work to raise awareness around road safety and take actions to make the local area as safe as possible. This year they have created road safety posters.
