Mental Health and Wellbeing Team
What the Service Does: The Mental Health and Wellbeing Team comprises of a Co-ordinator and 7 Mental Health Youth Workers (MHYW). The Mental Health and Wellbeing Service aims to provide an additional level of support for children and young people who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health and wellbeing, where their needs cannot be met through universal supports. The Service supports children and young people who do not meet the criteria for targeted support via CAMHS. The Mental Health and Wellbeing Service offers:
Advice, signposting, professional learning, guidance on all aspects of Mental Health and Wellbeing
Individual Interventions: Wellbeing; Let's Introduce Anxiety Management (LIAM); Brief Behavioural Activation, Safety Planning
Group Work: Seasons for Growth, Bloom Resilience
Age Range: From 5 years - school leaving age
