What the Service Does: The Education Support Officers (ESOs) work across the local authority as part of the Equity and Inclusion Team to develop and implement inclusion and equality in East Lothian Schools.
Age Range: From age 5 - school leaving age
How to Access: Within allocated authority clusters, the Education Support Officers work with schools, families and partner agencies to promote inclusion and wellbeing. They lead on the continual improvement of our Additional Support Needs services by developing authority policies, quality assurance, resource allocation and procurement, and training and curriculum development.
