Community learning and development
Community learning and development in East Lothian is delivered by the Connected Communities Service working in collaboration with a number of council services and partner organisations.
Community learning and development activities include family learning, youth work, support for volunteering, capacity building and adult learning.

Specialist Youth Workers
Connected Communities Specialist Youth Workers will work in partnership with local schools, supporting young people to access learning and development opportunities across a range of contexts. Primarily, we will work with young people from P6 to S3, however the specific needs of a community will determine the work we undertake and the upper age range of our involvement.
