Registration Process

The registration period typically takes places at the end of January and early February. However, parents may register their child(ren) at any time in one of our schools as long as they meet the ETSB criteria for enrolment.

The registration process for all students is the same, regardless of if they have special needs. However, during the registration process, it is important that the school team be made aware of your child's profile to ensure that their needs can be met. Without this information, there may be delays in putting necessary measures in place.

The following information should be shared with the school team upon registration:

  • Does your child have a medical condition(s)?

  • Does your child have a disability that could impact their academic and school success?

  • Has your child been assessed by a professional?

    • By whom?

    • For what reason?

    • If there is a report that could help the school organize services for the child, it is important to share it with the team.

  • Is your child on a waiting list to be assessed?

  • Any other pertinent information

To find out if your child is eligible to attend an English school, and/or to register them to an ETSB school, contact the school closest to you. You may also contact the Registration's office.
