We are ready each morning for our Google Meet to check in with our teacher and class.
Our device is setup in an open and public area of the house.
We stay in one place when online in Google Meets with our device setup so we can see and participate in the meet.
Our camera will ALWAYS be on so the teacher can see us.
We know when our teacher will be online to help us with our learning and we attend the Google Meet to ask questions and get assistance.
We use our Learner Profile Attributes when online in all areas of remote learning - sharing learning, chats, comments and Google Meets.
We follow our Essential Agreements for learning online.

Every day, your child will have a chance for a remote meeting online with their teacher and classmates through a Google Meet.

Google Meet is a video conferencing service from Google. This means the class, or a group of students, can meet remotely with their teacher to check in, play games and engage in explicit learning. New features include, the ability to take an online poll, bring up a virtual whiteboard and have children ask questions quickly.
One of the best things about Google Meet is that you don't need to install any software on your desktop. Everyone in the call simply has to be using a modern web browser. You can also access it using apps on your phone or tablet.

FROM YOUR COMPUTER
Use any modern web browser - no download required.
You can join any meeting from your desktop, laptop or Chromebook using the link or code provided by your teacher.
There is no additional software to install.
FROM YOUR PHONE OR TABLET
Download the Google Meet mobile app from either the Google Play or Apple Store.
Click on join a meeting and enter the code given to you by the class teacher.
