Hi to our families and kids!
Welcome to our online learning site! We are very excited to be reconnecting with all our students and learning together online. Below you will find a suggested timetable for learning, including the scheduled times for each Google Meet, information videos and other additional learning videos and websites.
Remote learning for our students will be accessed through the packs you all picked up from school and through Class Dojo, where all learning will be assigned weekly. Learning plans for the following week will also be posted on this page on a Friday afternoon. We look forward to seeing students in Google Meets and lots of photos of learning.
Both Hayley and Sharon will continue working with the class as we usually do. We would love for you to share what you are doing at home, whether it be your learning or something else exciting. Send us a Dojo message!
If you need any advice, have any questions or any concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us. The best way to get us is via Dojo messaging or email. If you have IT issues, the best contact is via the front office. The team there will help you out!
We know lockdown can be hard for everyone. Please be kind to yourselves and each other.
Stay safe, stay happy, and keep being amazing.
Hayley and Sharon
Class Dojo
We will be using Class Dojo for our way to share videos, stories, songs, and also as a portal for you to share what your child has been doing at home with you all.
If you are unsure how to use the portfolio section on Class Dojo, please click on the link to the left to see a tutorial on how this feature works.
Speak to your child's teacher or school leader if you need more information or access.
Google Meets
Each morning, all students will be required to participate in their class’ Google Meet to check in and for attendance purposes. This meet will only be a short, 15 minute time to check in with students and mark the roll.
The middle of the day Google Meets are designed for teachers to be available online to support and clarify the learning tasks for students.
Each week specialist lessons will be uploaded to Dojo. They will be set as an activity so watch out for these. Your child can share your learning with them through their portfolio!
Specialist subject day is Thursday so time has been allocated for these subjects then in our timetable.
