Moderating

You need to open two things:

How to open a pink form in ACS

ONE member of the group opens ACS. If you don't have your ACS password, you need to talk to your school's ACS co-ordinator.

Link to ACS is here.

Go to the menu MODERATION.

Select the menu item MODERATION REVIEW.

Use the drop down box to select the course you are moderating or type a key word in the "course" column.

Select the school you are moderating. Press the + icon to open the school.

Hit "Add Review".

This moderation day, we are asking groups to complete their pink forms at the same time as each other, so that they can immediately conference on the green form. If there is a change to this to accommodate conditions for your subject area, your SGL will let you know.

Help, I can't see the course I'm meant to be moderating!

Check the name. ACS lists all courses, including integrated courses, which are not moderated separately from their parent courses. Nothing will appear under an integrated course.

For example:

Literature is listed as Literature. The "English/Literature" course is the integrated course and is only used when making majors at the end of a student's package. No moderation portfolios will appear under "English/Literature".

Contemporary Mathematics is listed as Contemporary Mathematics. It is not under another Mathematics course.

Still can't see the right course? Ask your SGL.

How to open a portfolio in Dropbox

Your SGL will give you a link to Dropbox. Bookmark this link so you can easily refer to it during the day.

Open the portfolio by navigating to the subject and school you are reviewing. The portfolios are organised by venue.

Double check if you are opening and working with the T, A or M unit. Many schools will put in portfolios for T and A, A and M in the same unit with the same name!
