The questions cover dozens of categories from animals ("Why do skunks stink?) to cultures ("What is zydeco?") to history ("Who is Uncle Sam?") to science ("What is space?"). National Gallery of Art for Kids
The National Gallery of Art is ensuring future masterpieces to collect by encouraging kids to create their own works of art interactively. A Vermeer-inspired dollhouse, a Rousseau-ish jungle, and Calder-like mobiles are all open to artistic interpretation as kids can swap out and personalize elements. Freestylers can try their hand at Swatchbox or Paintbox (suitable for young children).
