Year 9/10 Elective Requirements

Year 9/10 students are encouraged to explore a range of electives from the various subject areas to assist in narrowing a learning pathway for college and beyond.

Each subject offers various themed units over the two year cycle.

Standard and Extension Units

The majority of electives offer standard units that are themed or cover basic skills and knowledge in that subject area. For some electives extension units are offered for students who have already completed the standard units but would like to continue to develop a deeper understanding of that subject area. These electives are indicated with (E) after the title of the unit.
