In Year 10, all students participate in a collaborative Service as Action project (Community Impact Challenge) as part of the pastoral programme, supported by their mentors. 

Working in groups, students will:

• Research local or global needs.

• Plan meaningful actions to address these needs.

• Engage in service activities that foster collaboration and community impact.

• Celebrate their efforts and reflect on their growth and achievements.

This mentor-supported initiative is designed to empower students to take ownership of their projects while strengthening teamwork and communication skills.

In addition to the collaborative project, students are encouraged to explore individual service opportunities within their communities. These projects allow them to pursue personal interests, develop their initiative, and make an impact beyond the classroom.

Through these experiences, students build connections, develop empathy, and grow as active, responsible global citizens.

As students progress through the IB, they will be expected to engage in service projects independently. 

The Community Impact Challenge prepares the students for independent engagement that is core component of the IB DP and CP.
